This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Just read your comments on one bad penny's site [link] and noticed your question about Apo. First, have you got the new version here? [link] . It's way easier to control.
Then it just so happens I've picked up a few tips recently about reducing "noise" (though it can have it's advantages) in Apo and here's what I wrote:
[As for grain, I myself am just figuring out some things you can do. Set the gamma to 5. Play with the triangles. Sometimes you can move them just a tiny bit and they line up with another area taking away the fuzzier lines. Some are just smoke and if you delete them, it won't affect the main image, just remove some of the grey areas. Sometimes duplicating the main triangles you like can eliminate noise. Playing on a white background also helps see where the lines end and begin. Using a black or darkbackground can hide the noise too. Rendering transparent png's in the new Apo then fiddling with the results can also make a difference. Then rendering at a high resolution like 2000 quality will help too. In your graphics program you can erase noise in several different ways. Then someone just told me that if you use the jpg optimizer feature to compress it before you post it, you get way more detail and clarity. And I tried it on a UF post here and it made a huge difference. BTW, though I've been paying with Apo nearly 2 years, it still reveals something new and wonderful to me everyday!)]
Naturally there are tons of tutorials here and elsewhere nowadays and there are also lots of experts on this site to help out wherever they can!
Hope you don't mind me giving you an unsolicited lecture and...take care.
